Over the past years, due to many factors, the sales and installation of woodburning stoves have increased. Richardson’s Sawmill are therefore pleased to be one of Norfolk’s leading firewood suppliers, processing in excess of 1500 tons of firewood per year.
We advise you to stock up on your firewood during the spring and summer months to ensure it is fully seasoned and ready to burn by the winter. This is also the most economical way to purchase your firewood as it makes it possible for you to buy unseasoned logs giving you enough time to let them dry to the correct moisture content of 20% or less. We understand that this isn’t possible for all of our customers therefore we do our best to ensure we have seasoned logs ready for delivery and collection available too.
